How I can Help

Whether you’re a family living with autism, a parent navigating challenging behaviour, or someone facing mental health difficulties – I provide structured, outcome-focused support across four core areas.

Working directly with individuals and families in their homes and communities, I draw on thorough assessment, behaviour analysis, and practical intervention within each session. Every piece of work is shaped around what you and your family want to achieve – building stability, independence, and lasting progress.

Referrals welcomed from local authorities, healthcare professionals, and families.

Behaviour & Autism Support

Working with children, young people, and adults – navigating behaviours that challenge, dysregulation, and the everyday realities of life with autism.

Behaviour rarely happens without reason. Whether it’s a child whose dysregulation episodes have left a family walking on eggshells, a young person struggling to regulate in school, or an adult whose responses to stress are causing harm to themselves or others – there is always something underneath, and that’s where the work starts.

I provide thorough behaviour analysis, identifying what’s driving the behaviour rather than focusing on the behaviour alone. From there, I work directly with the individual and those around them – parents, carers, schools, PAs – to build practical strategies that promote regulation, reduce risk, and create lasting change.

For neurodivergent children and adults, this also includes work on inclusion, sensory needs, communication, and the daily strategies that make life calmer and more predictable for the whole household.

Mental Health Support

Working alongside adults and young people living with complex, long-standing, or multi-diagnosis mental health needs – and ready to engage in genuine change.

This is for people who are ready to engage in real change – not those looking for ongoing maintenance. The goal isn’t to keep people in support; it’s to give them what they need to move forward and step out of it.

The people I work with often have layered, long-standing needs that mainstream services have struggled to support to actively change including personality disorders, psychosis, schizophrenia, complex trauma, OCD, and presentations that span multiple diagnoses at once.

Many have had years of medication, counselling, and support, and still feel stuck in the same cycles. What’s often missing isn’t more support – it’s understanding.

Understanding how the brain actually works, why certain patterns keep repeating, and how lifestyle, sleep, nutrition, environment, and the body itself all feed into mental wellbeing.

My work is built on evidence, structure, and honesty. I don’t do the work for people, and I don’t offer reassurance dressed up as support. I provide assessment, information, tools, and challenge – equipping individuals to recognise the patterns within their control, take accountability for the areas they can change, and step away from cycles that have kept them stuck.

Family & Parenting Support

Working with parents and households to build routines, parenting strategies, and stability when daily life feels overwhelming.

Family life rarely falls apart all at once. It’s usually the slow build of unmanaged behaviour, missed sleep, school refusal, sibling tension, and the quiet exhaustion of parents who’ve run out of strategies that work.

By the time most families reach out, they’ve already tried everything they can think of – and they’re not looking for parenting platitudes or generic advice. They need someone who’ll actually come into the home, see what’s happening, and work with them on what to do differently.

I work directly in the home and community with parents, carers, children, and young people – building practical routines, strategies for managing behaviour and emotion, and the kind of structure that gives a household its footing back. This isn’t about telling parents they’re doing it wrong.

Most parents I work with are doing extraordinary things in difficult circumstances. The work is about adding tools that fit their family, helping them understand what’s driving the dynamics at play, and supporting them to take confident, informed action – so home can feel like home again.

Assessments & Planning

Thorough assessments, support plans, risk assessments and behaviour analysis – guiding families, PAs, schools, and wider teams with effective support.

Not every situation calls for ongoing direct work. Sometimes what’s needed is the right pair of eyes on a complex picture – someone with the experience to assess what’s actually going on, identify what’s working and what isn’t, and produce a clear plan that everyone around the individual can follow.

Whether a household has a personal assistant team struggling to provide consistent support, a school needing guidance on a child’s behaviour, or a family trying to make sense of multiple professional opinions, a thorough assessment can be the difference between drift and direction.

I provide comprehensive assessments, written support plans, and behaviour analysis designed to be used – not filed away.

Each assessment is built on time spent with the individual and the people around them, observation in the environments where support actually happens, and a clear understanding of what the family or commissioner needs from the work.

The output is a practical, usable plan that PAs, parents, carers, schools, and wider teams can deliver against, with clear outcomes to measure against. Where required, I can also provide ongoing oversight to ensure the plan stays on track.
